Mission:

To establish a vibrant platform for Chicago Telugu Community by collaborating, celebrating, sharing, serving and representing the values of our great community with the sole purpose of service, entertainment and support.

Chicago Telugu Association comes to fore to serve the people of Telugu Community in Chicago and other parts of US with thrust on accountability, responsibility, transparency and unity. The sole purpose of CTA is to bring new direction, guidance and leadership to Telugu community in addressing the issues in Chicago and all of USA by emphasizing selfless service to our community.

The younger generation led by some energetic and idealistic young people have aspired to bring unity among people from Telugu Community felt the need to have a new platform and association. CTA is a reflection of aspirations, ideas and objectives of this younger generation who wish to do service, bring unity and support Telugu Community through various programs and services in Chicago and across US.

We aim to bring the feeling of ONE Telugu Community among Telugu people in Chicago and all of US by serving, supporting and collaborating in all possible ways irrespective of the caste & creed.

Our motto is to promote Telugu culture, language, heritage and unity through Service. This organization will promise better governance by constituting a board of members who display highest level of moral and ethical standards. All the major decisions will be made in consultation with these board members. Highest level of integrity and transparency will be maintained in financials and decision making process.
CTA belongs to people who thrive for our culture, language, unity and heritage. Some of the major initiatives and programs CTA would like to focus are

	Support and promote literary, cultural, educational, social, economic and community affairs of Telugu speaking people;
	Organize Telugu literary, educational and cultural conferences;
	Support humanitarian causes
	Organize informative seminars to the Telugu community in order to help them in improving their knowledge and skills in specific areas.
	Propagate and promote the use of Telugu Language as spoken language by setting up or organizing Telugu schools, conferences, workshops, and seminars etc.
	Collaborate in the organization of charity events/work in USA and abroad.

CTA is also planning to setup a help line (toll free number) to provide support for those in need. The help line will support activities like providing guidance to new students who come to US for higher studies, helping parents/guardians/custodians back home for any kind of information or eventuality about the dear ones
